Pet Policy
Maximum number of pets allowed, fees, deposits, and rent vary. If you have pets, please see your leasing representative for more information. Either a bird cage or a fish tank not to exceed 20-gallons will be allowed in each apartment. Only domesticated, common household pets will be allowed. The Wayford at Concord will not accept any animals that exhibit any type of aggressive behavior. Only domesticated, common household pets will be allowed. Number and size limitations and pet rent requirements do not apply to assistance animals. Unless otherwise approved as a reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act, the standard pet allowance for The Wayford at Concord is as follows: A maximum of three (3) pets per unit is permitted, with no more than two (2) dogs. Acceptable animals include cats, dogs (excluding restricted breeds listed below), turtles, non-poisonous reptiles, crabs, small domesticated hamsters, gerbils, birds, and fish. The following dog breeds, or any mix of these breeds, are considered high-risk and are not permitted at Bell- Page | 2 managed communities: Pit Bull-type breeds (including American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and American Terrier), Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chow Chow, Great Dane, St. Bernard, Akita, Beauceron, Belgian Malinois, and Belgian Sheepdog.
